Anjanette Davenport Hatter, LMSW-Clinical, CLC

Social Worker | Self-Care Coach
Anjanette Davenport Hatter is the owner and CEO of Harambee Care, an equity-based social work enterprise focused on emotional wellness. As a certified self-care coach and licensed clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience, Anjanette helps people with depression and anxiety find peace, hope and joy.

As a social justice and health equity leader, she has cultivated change in population health at local and national levels through her efforts at disrupting racism, empowering communities, and through field instruction. Anjanette specializes in guiding individuals toward holistic emotional wellness through self-care, self-compassion, and mindfulness practices.

With a decade of running her private practice, she incorporates preventive and restorative emotional wellness methods, integrating therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) with practical, evidence-based tools to empower individuals in their journey toward a balanced and fulfilling life.

Anjanette earned professional certificates from Harvard, the University of South Florida and Transformation Academy in Strengthening Community Health Workers; Diversity Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace and Self-Care Coaching, respectively. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University in Family and Child Ecology and a master’s degree in Social Work from Wayne State University.
